Martin Staufner
Martin Staufner (born October 8, 1964 in Immenstadt im Allgäu ) is an Austrian draftsman and painter .
Life
Martin Staufner has lived in Upper Austria since 1968 , currently in Bad Schallerbach and Linz . After attending the technical college for commercial graphics in Linz from 1985 to 1989, he began studying in 1990 at the college for artistic and industrial design in Linz , master class for painting and graphics with Peter Kubovsky . In 1995 he graduated with the subject “ Cityscape , Drawing in New York ” (see picture for example) and in the same year had his first solo exhibition “Cityscape” in the Thiele Gallery in Linz. Several study trips lasting several months took Staufner to New York in 1994 and 1999 ; in the winter of 1997/98 to Los Angeles and 2001/2002 to La Herradura in Andalusia .
Staufner has been working as a freelance artist since his studies. He is a member of the professional association of Austrian visual artists, Upper Austria section and the Upper Austrian Art Association .
