Martin Wißner , also Martin Wissner , (* 1985 in Augsburg ) is a German actor .

Life

Wißner completed an acting training at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding . He graduated in the summer of 2007 with a diploma as a stage actor. During his studies he appeared in the 2005/2006 season at the Prinzregententheater in Munich under the direction of Dieter Dorn in his staging of William Shakespeare's tragic comedy The Merchant of Venice . In 2006 he played at the Prinzregententheater in Das Ballhaus , a “play without words”, in a production by Jochen Schölch .

Since the 2007/2008 season, Wißner has been a permanent member of the ensemble at the Schauspielhaus Hamburg . There he played, among other things: Jason in the Hamburg premiere of the play Pornography by Simon Stephens (premiere: October 2007), the title role in Krabat (premiere: November 2007), Sebastian in Was ihr wollt (premiere: June 2008), Morten in Ein Volksfeind (premiere: November 2008), Beerboom in a stage version of the novel Whoever Eats Out of a Tin Bowl by Hans Fallada (premiere: April 2009), Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet (premiere: January 2010), Chadwick in the play Punk Rock by Simon Stephens (German-language premiere: March 2010) and Frankie in the musical evening parents of Franz Wittenbrink (premiere: March 2011).

In 2008, Wißner made his debut as a film actor in the television film How is the world so silent from the crime series Polizeiruf 110 . Wißner played the role of the disturbed neighbor boy Johannes Ottl, who comes into consideration as a suspect for a multiple murder. Wißner received very good reviews for his film debut. He played the role "sensitive and straightforward", with "necessary impenetrability and cunning - and all the helplessness of an adolescent". In 2011, he played the role of kidnapper René Scheffler in the Polizeiruf-110 television film A Deadly Safe Plan .

Since 2008, Wißner has taken on other film and television roles. In 2009 he had a leading role in the series Doctor Martin . He played Ede Buhr, a young man who shows signs of salmonella poisoning and who has a dark secret with him. He also had an episode role in the ZDF crime series Notruf Hafenkante , in the episode Knock Out (2009) he played a young boxer . He was also seen in the crime series Großstadtrevier and Tatort .

From October 2011 to the spring of 2012, Wißner was seen in the ARD evening series Bright to Deadly: Nordic Tart as police investigator Rayk Kilian in a leading role.
