Martin Dittelberger , knight of Dittelberger since 1914 (born December 13, 1871 in Waldfenster , † December 17, 1945 in Munich ) was a German major general and knight of the Military Max Joseph Order .

Life

Here he stayed after the end of the war until demobilization . Dittelberger then joined the Epp Freikorps for a short time before he was transferred to the military shooting school on May 9, 1919. He then joined the staff of the Reichswehr Rifle Regiment 42 on September 29, 1919 and was appointed commander of the Bavarian military shooting school on December 13, 1919. From there, Dittelberger was transferred to the Reichswehr Ministry on January 9, 1920 , where he was employed as a department head for the inspection of weapons and equipment. Dittelberger was appointed commander of the 19th (Bavarian) Infantry Regiment in Munich on November 1, 1923 .
