Martine Ek Hagen (born April 4, 1991 in Enebakk ) is a Norwegian cross-country skier .

Career

Hagen took part in junior races until 2011. At the Junior World Championships in 2011 in Otepää , she won gold in the relay and silver in the skiathlon . Since 2011 she has mostly competed in the Scandinavian Cup , where she won four in the 2011/12 season and thus won the overall standings. She ran her first World Cup race in February 2011 in Drammen , which she finished classically in 30th place over 10 km. At the U23 World Championships in 2012 in Erzurum , she won gold in the skiathlon and bronze over 10 km classic. In November 2012, she won her first World Cup victory with the relay in Gällivare . At the beginning of 2013 she won two races over 10 km in the Scandinavian Cup in Östersund . At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2013 in Val di Fiemme , she reached 32nd place over 10 km freestyle. In the 2013/14 season she came on the podium three times at the Scandinavian Cup, including two wins. At the U23 World Championships in 2014 in Val di Fiemme , she won gold in the skiathlon and over 10 km classic. She finished the season in second place overall in the Scandinavian Cup. At the beginning of the following season she finished 13th at the Nordic Opening in Lillehammer . In January 2015 she achieved her first World Cup individual podium placement in Rybinsk with second place in the skiathlon. At the 2015 Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun , she came 12th in the skiathlon and in the 30 km classic mass start race. She finished the season in eighth place in the Distance World Cup.
