Mascha Kurtz

Mascha Kurtz (* 1970 in Mainz ) is a German writer .

Life

Mascha Kurtz grew up in Würzburg and studied communication design there . In addition, she organized the first poetry slams in the Lower Franconian province and was co-editor of the now discontinued literary magazine Fisch . From 1998 to 2001 she worked as a freelance journalist in Hamburg .

In addition to her literary work, she writes opera libretti and plays . She wrote the libretti for the operas Leib.wache and Schlaflos .

Today Mascha Kurtz lives in Ticino .
