Mathias Müller (born November 5, 1992 in Füssen ) is a German - Austrian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Füchsen Duisburg in the ice hockey league since 2019 .

Career

Müller played in his youth at his hometown club EV Füssen , where he was used in the youth Bundesliga in the 2007/08 season and also played two games in the junior Bundesliga. Also in the 2007/08 season , Müller, who has both a German and an Austrian passport, played his first games in the German junior league for SC Riessersee . In the following season he was exclusively in the squad of the SC Riessersee and played 38 games in the DNL. In the 2009/10 season the defender played again for Riessersee in the DNL, ​​was also used for his home club EV Füssen in the junior Bundesliga and also played 19 games for Füssen in the major league . Müller played again for his hometown club in the 2010/11 season, he played 35 games for EV Füssen in the Oberliga, as well as 16 games for the youth team, which played their premier season in the DNL. The right-shooter moved to ESV Kaufbeuren in 2011 , for whom he played in the 2nd Bundesliga for two years . He also played four games in the Junior Bundesliga in the 2011/12 season.

In 2013 Mathias Müller moved to EHC Linz from the Austrian ice hockey league . For the Upper Austrians he played 16 games in the EBEL , but was mostly used in the youth team of the Black Wings . On June 9, 2014, the defender switched to the Straubing Tigers from the DEL , and he also received a support license from the ESV Kaufbeuren from the DEL2 . In January 2015 he switched to the EC Kassel Huskies in the DEL2. With the Huskies, he became DEL2 champion in 2016 before moving to EHC Bayreuth within the league in summer 2017 . For the 2018/19 season he moved to Deggendorfer SC and then to the Oberliga with Füchsen Duisburg .
