Mato Mlađenović (born January 8, 1978 in Sisak , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a former Croatian ice hockey player who was his entire contract with the KHL Medveščak Zagreb . In his last season he played for the Zagreb team , the Slohokej Liga team of the top Zagreb clubs.

Career

Mato Mlađenović began his career as an ice hockey player with the KHL Medveščak Zagreb , for which he made his debut in the Croatian ice hockey league in the 1995/96 season and with which he has been under contract since then. At the same time, the winger played in the multinational Interliga from 2000 to 2007 . With his club he has won the Croatian championship title twelve times . He was also the top scorer of the Croatian ice hockey league in 2002 and 2008. Since 2007, the right-handed shooter has been on the ice for Medveščak in the Slovenian ice hockey league. After the team from Zagreb was accepted into the Austrian ice hockey league for the 2009/10 season , he only played two games for Medveščak's first team in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga and two for their second team in the Slohokej league .

In the 2010/11 season Mlađenović ran for the Zagreb team , the new cooperation project of the Zagreb top clubs, in the Slohokej League, scoring two goals and two assists in five games. He then ended his active playing career.

International

For Croatia , Mlađenović took part in the junior division at the U18 Junior C European Championships in 1994 , 1995 when he was voted the best striker of the tournament, and 1996 as well as the U20 Junior C2 World Championship in 1995 and the U20 Junior C World Championship 1997 part. In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad at the D World Championship in 1997 and the C World Championship in 1999 and 2000 . After switching to the current division system, he played in Division II in 2004 , 2005 and 2007 and in Division I in 2001 , 2002 , 2003 , 2006 , 2008 and 2009. He also played for Croatia in qualifying for the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin .
