Matt Oberg
Matthew French "Matt" Oberg (born August 12, 1976 in Larchmont , New York ) is an American actor . He gained fame primarily through his series roles in Ugly Americans and Veep - The Vice President .
life and career
Matt Oberg is from Larchmont, New York, United States. He attended the University of Michigan and has been an actor since 2004 after appearing on the Comeydshow Chappelle's Show . After appearing in several short films, he took on roles in the 2011 parody shows Onion SportsDome and Onion News Network from the creators of The Onion .
From 2010 to 2012, Oberg spoke the lead role of social worker Mark Lilly in the animated series Ugly Americans . In 2012 he took on a small role in The Bourne Legacy . Since then he has appeared increasingly in guest roles in series such as 30 Rock , Hart of Dixie , Trophy Wife , The Mindy Project , Powerless , Superstore , Mom , Modern Family and A Million Little Things .
In 2015 he starred as Mitch Reed in the series The Comedians . From 2016 to 2017 followed a recurring role in The Real O'Neals . Also from 2016 he was in the role of Buddy Calhoun on the cast of the dramedy series Veep - The Vice President , which he played from season 5 to the final seventh season. He starred in Fresh Off the Boat from 2017 to 2018 as Matthew Chestnut in a supporting role.
Matt Oberg has been married to Elizabeth Bangs since 2011.
