Matthias Kelle
Matthias Kelle (* 1982 in Münster ) is a German actor .
Life
Matthias Kelle was born in Münster and grew up in Detmold . There he attended the Leopoldinum high school and, after graduating from high school, studied modern history and theater studies at the Free University of Berlin before training as an actor at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich. During his studies he already appeared in various productions of the Münchner Kammerspiele . His first theater engagement was from 2008 to 2013 at the Schauspiel Staatstheater Stuttgart under the direction of Hasko Weber . Here he worked with the director Johanna Werner and the directors Volker Lösch , Jan Neumann , Sebastian Baumgarten and Peter Kastenmüller.
After Hasko Weber ended as artistic director at the Schauspiel Staatstheater Stuttgart in the summer of 2013, Matthias Kelle moved to the Schauspielhaus Bochum and worked there with Anselm Weber , Christian Brey , Lisa Nielebock , Robert Schuster , Lukas Langhoff and Roger Vontobel, among others .
In 2014 he became known to a larger audience through the ARD fairy tale film The Three Feathers , based on the fairy tale of the same name by the Brothers Grimm . In this he played the young prince Gebhardt on the side of Sky DuMont , Jannik Schümann and Kyra Kahre .
Since 2013 he has also been associated with the European Community for Cultural Affairs.
