Maximilian Mann

Maximilian Mann (born August 19, 1987 in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse ) is a German musical actor . His vocal subject is high baritone .

Life

He discovered dancing and singing as a hobby at an early age and, at the age of thirteen, took dance lessons at the Kwiatkowski dance school in Salzgitter , where he spent his childhood. His very first experience with the musical stage was during his school days when he took part in the performance of the play " Hair " as George Berger.

After graduating from high school in 2006, he initially wanted to study medicine with the Bundeswehr, but then decided to study musicals and shows at the Berlin University of the Arts , which he successfully completed in 2011 with distinction. While still a student he played in the musical “One Touch of Venus” in the Anhaltisches Theater in Dessau in 2009. During his training, he also played Rupert in the play “ My Avatar and I ” at the Neukölln Opera in Berlin , which 25 November 2010 premiere celebrated. There he was also seen in the musical “A heart is looking for a parking space”.

Following his studies, engagements followed such as the role of Pedro in the musical " The Man from La Mancha (Musical) " in the Grenzlandtheater Aachen and at the Musical Theater Bremen , he was seen in the role of Kurt in "Die Drei von der Gasstelle". From February to April 2012 he was involved in the entertainment show “Am Rande der Nacht” in the Wintergarten-Variéte in Berlin as a dancer and soloist. From June 2012 he then played Hans Hermann von Katte in the world premiere of the play “Friedrich Mythos and Tragedy” alongside Elisabeth Hübert and Chris Murray in Potsdam . Two years later he was seen again in the role of Hans when the play was resumed in Hameln and Fulda . In Fulda he also played the title role of young Adolph Kolping in the musical "Kolpings Traum", which premiered on August 2, 2013 in the Lanxess Arena . Further engagements such as “ Naturally Blond ” and “ Love Never Dies ” in Vienna in 2013 and his portrayal of Brad in “The Rocky Horror Show” in 2014 in Magdeburg followed.

At the end of 2014, the United Bühnen Wien announced that Mann would take on the role of Emperor Franz Joseph in the upcoming tour production of the successful musical Elisabeth . As part of the tour, Mann also made his debut in Shanghai, where the piece made a guest appearance. After more than a year of touring, the musical celebrated its last show in Hamburg in March 2016 . In the summer of 2016, Mann was seen at the Thunerseespiele as Joe / Josephine in "Sugar - Some Like It Hot". In the 2016/2017 season he was also involved in the musical Dracula in Bremerhaven . Maximilian Mann also accompanied the tour of the musical Mozart! first to Duisburg and finally to Shanghai in the role of Colloredo. In 2017 he played the role of Phoebus in the musical The Hunchback of Notre Dame in Berlin and Stuttgart . He can currently be seen in the role of Genie in the musical of the Disney classic Aladdin .
