Merzdorf , Žylowk in Lower Sorbian , is a district of the city of Cottbus in Brandenburg . In 2017 there were 1,088 residents.

history

The place was first mentioned in 1411.

On January 1, 1974 Merzdorf was incorporated into Dissenchen . On December 31, 1988 Merzdorf was again an independent municipality, before the place was incorporated into Cottbus on December 6, 1993.
