Metal art Herrenhausen
The metal art Herrhausen AG was a company in Herrenhausen , the metal products has made all kinds. Among other things, she worked as a bronze foundry . The sculptor Ludwig Vierthaler used the company several times in the 1920s to produce utility art based on his designs .
history
The company was founded as a GmbH before 1923 and was located at Herrenhäuser Strasse 26 . (today: Alte Herrenhäuser Strasse ) The company was converted into a stock corporation during the hyperinflation in August 1923 . In August 1925 bankruptcy proceedings were opened for the company.
After Adolf Falke had delivered his futuristic type design for the Falke watches named after him in 1926 , the "Metallkunst Herrenhausen" provided the watch at (today's location) Thielenplatz with its manufacturer's engraving . Like all Falke watches in Hanover, it is now a listed building .

- 1914 Ohlsdorf cemetery in Hamburg , grave number 949: great shrine of granite , wide rectangular relief plate , right and left each with two male portraits of the ancestors of Harder and John Harmove (1855-1914)
- Around 1920, based on a design by Ludwig Vierthaler : Octagonal ceiling lamp in pyramid shape with relief-like ornaments on the metal edge
- around 1921, after Ludwig Vierthaler : cast brass chandelier with the monogram "LV", faceted base, shaft as an expressive representation of an Art Deco figure , carrying three arms with candle sleeves , height 39.5 cm
