The metropolitan area of ​​Hinesville-Fort Stewart (English: Hinesville-Fort Stewart metropolitan area ) is a metropolitan area in the southeast of the US state Georgia . It represents a Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) defined by the Office of Management and Budget and includes the counties Liberty and Long . The upper centers of the agglomeration are the city of Hinesville and the military base Fort Stewart .

At the time of the 2010 census , the area had 77,917 residents.
