Michael Gardawski (born September 25, 1990 in Cologne ) is a German football player of Polish origin. He is the cousin of Lukas Sinkiewicz . He is currently under contract with Korona Kielce .

Career

In the club

Gardawski moved from SC Köln-Weiler-Volkhoven to the 1. FC Köln youth team in 2001 . At the age of 17, he was already training with the billy goat licensed squad under coach Christoph Daum . At the beginning of 2009 he made his debut for Cologne's second team in the Regionalliga West . For the second half of the 2009/10 season he was awarded to FC Carl Zeiss Jena and quickly became a leading player.

In the 2010/11 season Gardawski was initially active on loan for the second team of VfB Stuttgart . In June 2011 he moved to VfL Osnabrück . For the Osnabrück team he played most of the time from the start in the 2011/12 season. He played a total of 25 games in the 3rd division and three in the Lower Saxony Oberliga for the club's second team.

For the 2012/13 season he moved back to his hometown for regional league club FC Viktoria Köln . But already after a year Gardawski left the club and moved to the third division for MSV Duisburg . He was regularly called up for this, but was increasingly rarely in the starting line-up in the 2014/15 season. On May 16, 2015, he contributed two goals in the 3-1 home win against Holstein Kiel to secure the early promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga. In July of the same year he joined the third division team Hansa Rostock . For the cog, Gardawski completed a total of 75 competitive games in which he scored a goal. With Hansa, he won the state cup twice in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Gardawski did not extend his contract, which expired in the summer of 2017, instead he switched to the Polish first division club Korona Kielce .

National team

Gardawski was in action for several German youth national teams. With the German U-16 national team he came on four missions in 2007 and three missions with the German U-17 in 2008.
