Alexander II gave Michael Küchelbecker back the nobility privileges on August 26, 1856. Mainly for financial reasons, the rehabilitated man stayed in Siberia. Most recently he worked for companies that mined gold in Siberia and tried to obtain mining rights in Eastern Siberia.
