Michael Lenz

Michael Lenz (born December 15, 1930 in Ulm ; † February 24, 2013 in Neu-Ulm ) was a German actor , voice actor , director and acting teacher.

Life

Since the 1950s Lenz has taken on smaller and larger roles in film and television productions. He worked with well-known directors such as Fritz Kortner ( Sarajevo ), Axel von Ambesser ( And heaven laughs too ) and Harald Braun ( Heart of the World ). He played alongside Maria Schell and OW Fischer in As long as you are there and alongside Heinz Erhardt in The Last Pedestrian . In addition, Lenz took on guest roles in numerous television series such as Der Kommissar and Das Kriminalmuseum . Lenz had his last television appearance in 1978 in an episode of the series Der Alte .

In 1959, Lenz was well known that he was counted among the 300 best-known national and international "stars and starlets" of the time in the reference book Merk-Würdiges from A – Z.

Lenz also worked as a spokesperson for radio productions, for example for the 28-part BR radio play series The Grandauers and their time and the adaptation of Michael Ende's The Neverending Story produced by Anke Beckert in 1984 for the Karussell label . In Meister Eder und seine Pumuckl he spoke u. a. Eder's regulars, customers and the property manager. Here he sometimes speaks with the Swabian dialect .
