Mikhail Dauhaljawez ( Belarusian Міхаіл Даўгалявец * 18th May 1990 in Minsk , Belarus ) is a Belarusian boxer in light heavyweight . In 2012 and 2016 he took part in the Olympic Games .

Amateur career

Mikhail Dauhaljawez is silver medalist of the Military World Championships (CISM) 2008 in Azerbaijan and the World University Championships 2016 in Thailand, as well as bronze medalist of the Summer Universiade 2013 in Russia and the World University Championships 2014 in Russia.

In 2011 he took part in the European Championships in Turkey and the World Championships in Azerbaijan. He also started at the 2012 Olympic Games in London , where he lost the first fight against Oleksandr Hwosdyk .

In 2015 he reached the quarter-finals at the European Championships in Bulgaria and the World Championships in Qatar. At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , he defeated Valentino Manfredonia in the preliminary round , but was then eliminated by Ädilbek Nijasymbetow .

In 2017 he was again quarter-finalist at the European Championships in Ukraine and the World Championships in Germany.

In 2019 he took part in the European Games in Belarus and the World Championships in Russia.

Dauhaljawez is also the Belarusian champion in 2011, 2012, 2017 and 2018 and boxed for the Azerbaijan Baku Fires team in the World Series of Boxing from 2013 to 2016 .

Professional career

He made his professional debut on February 29, 2020.
