Miikka Jäske (* 3. May 1982 in Hyvinkää ) is a Finnish ice hockey player , who since the 2011/12 season for the mosquitoes eat from the league plays.

Career

Miikka Jäske played for his hometown club Ahmat Hyvinkää until 2001 , before moving to the United States for the Omaha Lancers in the United States Hockey League . After only one year abroad, he moved back to his homeland, where he went on the ice for Hyvinkää in the second Finnish league Mestis . Between 2003 and 2006 he played for various clubs in Finland, Denmark and Sweden, including for the Pelicans Lahti in the SM-liiga and the Herlev Hornets in the AL-Bank Ligaen .

For the 2006/07 season he moved to Germany to the Blue Devils Weiden in the league . In his second season in Weiden he was the top scorer of his team with 104 points and was also a member of the ESBG all-star team. He started the 2008/09 season with the Tölzer Löwen in the 2nd ice hockey Bundesliga , before joining the league club Saale Bulls Halle during the season . In summer 2009 he and his compatriot Janne Kujala moved from Halle to the regional league for EV Duisburg . A year later he returned to the 1st EV Weiden . Since October 7th, 2011 he has been under contract with Mosquitos Essen .
