The US Highway 151 runs from north to south-west by the Town of Mineral Point. The Wisconsin State Highway 23 runs in a north-south direction, the Wisconsin State Highway 39 runs from west to east. These streets intersect in the non-town of Mineral Point. In addition, the county highways D, O, S and Y run through the area of the Town of Dodgeville. All other roads are subordinate country roads and some unpaved roads.
With the Iowa County Airport there is a small airfield immediately behind the northwestern border of the town.
