Miranda Frigon (born February 2, 1980 in Edmonton , Alberta ) is a Canadian actress and singer-songwriter .

life and career

Miranda Frigon began her acting career at the age of 8 when she appeared in dozens of TV commercials . She studied theater at the University of Alberta before receiving a scholarship to the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City .

Frigon received a recurring role in the Disney - TV series Honey, I Shrunk the Kids . She returned to Canada and received guest roles on various American and Canadian television series such as Dead Zone , 4400 - The Returnees , Tru Calling - Destiny reloaded! , Higher Ground and The John Doe Case! . In 2003 she starred as Susan Carver in the TV series Jake 2.0 in a supporting role. She then moved to Los Angeles and got other guest appearances in successful series.
