Mirkot ( Nepali मिरकोट or Bhirkot ) is a Village Development Committee (VDC) in central Nepal in the Gorkha district .

Mirkot is 10 km west of the district capital Gorkha . The VDC extends over a hilly landscape south of the Mansiri Himal at heights of 400  m to 1100  m . The Daraudi River flows east of Mirkot.

Residents

At the 2011 census, the VDC Mirkot had 5261 inhabitants (2407 male) in 1388 households.
