Uiya ( Nepali उइया ) is a village and a Village Development Committee (VDC) in Nepal in the Gorkha district .

The VDC Uiya is located on the western bank of the Budhigandaki . The VDC Sirdibas is located up the valley . Uiya is on the Manaslu Loop .

Residents

At the 2011 census, the VDC Uiya had 1,857 inhabitants (823 male) in 427 households.
