Miroslav Raduljica ( Serbian - Cyrillic Мирослав Радуљица ; born January 5, 1988 in Inđija , SR Serbia ) is a Serbian basketball player .

Raduljica began his career at FMP Železnik in his hometown, before he was signed by the Turkish club Efes Istanbul in 2010 , which subsequently loaned him to other clubs, including the German first division club ALBA Berlin , with whom he played in the 2010 basketball league / 11 became German runner-up. He also won the Serbian championship and cup double with Železnik's local rival KK Partizan in 2012 and the Ukrainian runner-up in 2013 with Azovmasch Mariupol. In 2013 he got a contract from the Milwaukee Bucks in the highest endowed professional league NBA .

Career

Raduljica was trained in the youth teams of FMP Železnik in his hometown and made his debut in 2006, as the newly crowned U18 European champion with the Serbian youth team, in the first team of Železnik. In the 2006/07 season he was awarded to KK Borac from Čačak , before returning to Železnik as U19 world champion with Serbia in 2007. While he did not have any particular success with FMP, he continued to be successful with the Serbian junior teams and won the U20 European Championship in 2008 and the gold medal at the 2009 Summer Universiade in his hometown of Belgrade. He was also able to win the silver medal with the men's national team at the 2009 European Championship finals .

After reaching the finals in the Serbian Cup competition with FMP Železnik, he was signed by the Turkish top club Efes Pilsen SK from Istanbul in 2010 , who only used him in a few games in the 2010/11 season after initial injury problems under Croatian coach Velimir Perasović , but in March 2011 awarded to German first division club ALBA Berlin. With the Berlin club, Raduljica reached the final series for the championship in the 2010/11 basketball Bundesliga , which was lost in just five games against defending champion Brose Baskets Bamberg.

In the following two seasons, Raduljica was also awarded to other clubs in Europe by the Turkish club, now trading as Anadolu Efes. In the 2011/12 season he played for Železnik's local rivals KK Partizan Belgrade, while his former Belgrade club had merged with KK Red Star. With serial champion Partizan, Raduljica defended the national double from championship and cup, but could not defend the title in the ABA league .

In the 2012/13 season Raduljica played in the Basketball Superliga Ukraine for runner-up BK Azovmash from Mariupol , who again moved into the final series for the championship and this time was defeated by BK Budiwelnyk Kiev .

After Raduljica had previously shown no increased interest in the highest endowed professional league NBA in the United States and had not been considered in the entry draft of the league, he was signed in the summer of 2013 by an NBA club. At the Milwaukee Bucks he got a two-year contract with an option. He then ran for a few games for the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2015 .

With the Serbian national team, he won the silver medal at the 2014 World Basketball Championship in Spain.
