The 40th Mediterranean Tour (officially Tour Méditerranéen Cycliste ) was a French cycle stage race that took place from February 6 to 10, 2013. It was held in five stages (of which the 3rd stage was not held due to the lack of safety measures) over a total distance of 507.5 kilometers in the French Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur . The race was part of the UCI Europe Tour 2013 and was classified in category 2.1.

The winner of the race was the Swede Thomas Lövkvist from the Swiss team IAM Cycling . He won due to the better stage placements without a time advantage over the French Jean-Christophe Péraud . Third was the Italian Francesco Reda .
