Mongar ( མོང་ སྒར་ རྫོང་ ཁག་ , also: Monggar or Mongor) is one of the 20 districts ( dzongkhag ) of Bhutan . About 42,119 people (2012) live in this district. The Mongar area covers 1947 km².
