Pemagatshel ( པདྨ་ དགའ་ ཚལ་ རྫོང་ ཁག་ ; also: Pemagatsel or Pema Gatshel) is one of the 20 districts ( dzongkhag ) of Bhutan . About 14,889 people live in this district. The Pemagatshel area covers 593 km².

The capital of the district is of the same name Pemagatshel .

The Pemagatshel district is in turn divided into 11 Gewogs :
