Paro ( སྤ་ རོ་ རྫོང་ ཁག་ ) is one of the 20 districts ( dzongkhag ) of Bhutan . About 38,613 people live in this district. The Paro area covers 1693 km². The capital of the district is Paro - it has the only international airport in Bhutan .
