Trongsa ( ཀྲོང་ གསར་ རྫོང་ ཁག་ ; also: Tongsa) is one of the 20 districts ( dzongkhag ) of Bhutan . About 14,712 people (2010) live in this district. The Trongsa area covers 1807 km².

The capital of the district is Trongsa .
