Monika Seck-Agthe

Monika Seck-Agthe (* 1954 in Hamburg ) is a German author and journalist . After the screenplay by Arend Agthe and the film of the same name River Cruise with Chicken (1984), she and Agthe wrote the children's novel River Cruise with Chicken in 1987 , which was also published as an audio book .

Life

Born in Hamburg, she now lives in Frankfurt am Main, where she studies . In 1979 she passed her exams in the subjects of special and curative education as well as art education . Since then she has worked as a freelance writer and journalist for magazines such as Eltern und Spiele und Lern , book publishers, where her main focus is on children and women, and for German children's television. Monika Seck-Agthe was married to the filmmaker Arend Agthe until 1998. Both wrote the children's novel River Cruise with Chicken in 1987 based on the script by Arend Agthe (1983) and the resulting film River Cruise with Chicken (1984). The book was illustrated by Klaus Fischer. They also wrote the scripts for the films Chicks for Cairo and The Summer of the Falcon .
