Moose Blood is an indie rock / emo band from Canterbury , Kent , England, founded in 2012 .
history
Moose Blood was founded in August 2012 in the English city of Canterbury , Kent . The first line-up consisted of the two guitarists Mark Osbourne and Eddy Breweron, who also acts as the front singer , the bassist Kyle Todd and the drummer Glenn Harvey.
In the founding year, Bukowski (Summer '12) was a demo release that was created by the company itself and is only available as a music download. On February 11, 2013, the EP Moving Home was released on the underground label Fist in the Air . After a label change to No Sleep Records , a split EP was released with the band Departures in November of the same year , before No Sleep released the debut album I'll Keep You in Mind, From Time to Time on October 7, 2014 has been. Another label change followed, this time to Hopeless Records , where the second album Blush was released on August 5, 2016 . In March 2018, the successor I Don't Think I Can Do This Anymore was launched.
In May 2014, the quartet supported I Am the Avalanche on their tour of the UK . The group spent the summer of 2015 on the entire Warped Tour . In April 2016, Moose Blood toured the UK as a headliner. The group previously played at the SelfHelp Fest in San Bernardino, California .
In March 2017, drummer Glenn Harvey was kicked out of the band after allegations of sexual harassment were made against him. Also against singer Eddy Breweron allegations of theft and invasion of privacy were brought. However, the musicians announced that the allegations were false and will file criminal charges. On September 24, 2018, Moose Blood was announced as the opening act for Good Charlotte's European tour . However, it was announced on the same day that the band had been unloaded from the tour due to the ongoing allegations against the musicians. A few hours later, the musicians spoke up in a statement that spoke of “taking a step back” and indicated either a musical break or even the final end of Moose Blood. In the recent past, Movements had already canceled a joint Australian tour due to the allegations. Furthermore, the band had to cancel a concert tour through North America .

Moose Blood has been described as a modern exponent of emo , whose music on the EP Moving Home can be seen as a mix of Brand News Deja Entendu , The Get Up Kids ' Something to Write Home About and American Football 's debut album of the same name.
