Mouhamadou Dabo (born November 28, 1986 in Dakar ) is a French football player with Senegalese roots. He can be used flexibly, either on the right wing in midfield or as a right defender .

Career

Due to his speed and excellent technique, he finally played his way into the starting line-up of Saint-Étienne in the 2006/07 season. Since then he has made 115 appearances, 32 of them in the 2007/08 season. He has been used ten times in the French U-21.

For the 2010/11 season Dabo moved to Spain to FC Sevilla , where he signed a four-year contract. On December 19, 2010, Dabo was sent off after a brutal kick against Real Madrid's Ángel Di María .

In the course of the season, however, he could never really prevail and was transferred back to France to Olympique Lyon after a year . He made his first appearance for his new team on August 18, 2011 in a 2-0 home win against Olympique Marseille .
