Prince Oniangué (born November 4, 1988 in Paris ) is a Congolese - French football player . The central midfielder is under contract with SM Caen and is a national player for the Republic of the Congo .

Career

society

Oniangué began his career at Hérouville-Saint-Clair and joined SM Caen in 1999 . In 2005 he moved to the youth department at Stade Rennes . There he moved up to the first team for the 2008/09 season . On September 27, 2008 he came in a 1-0 home win against OGC Nice to his Ligue 1 debut when he came on for Stéphane Mbia in the 83rd minute . In 2009 he was awarded for one year to the second division club SCO Angers , for whom he scored his first goal in professional football on September 18, 2009 in a 1-1 draw against CS Sedan . At the end of the season, Oniangué moved to Tours FC , who was also playing in Ligue 2 at the time. After three seasons in Tours , he was under contract with Stade Reims from summer 2013 . After the 2015/16 season , he was relegated to Ligue 2 with the club.

For the 2016/17 season Oniangué moved to the English second division team Wolverhampton Wanderers , with whom he signed a four-year contract. In January 2017 he was awarded to SC Bastia until the end of the season. A year later he was loaned to his ex-club SCO Angers until the end of the season. After his return, Oniangué moved to SM Caen .

National team

Oniangué has played for the Republic of the Congo national team since 2008 . On November 11, 2011, he scored his first international goal in a 5-0 win over São Tomé and Príncipe . In January 2015 he took part in the African Championship in Equatorial Guinea with the Republic of the Congo . He was used in the tournament in all four games of his team, which failed in the quarter-finals at the Democratic Republic of the Congo .
