The municipality Curva is a district in the department of La Paz in the South American Andes -State Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
The municipality Curva is one of two municipalities in the province of Bautista Saavedra and is located in the western part of the province. It borders on the province of Franz Tamayo to the north and west and the municipality of Charazani to the south and east .
The central place of the municipality is Curva with 1,047 inhabitants (2012 census) in the southern part of the district.

The Municipio Curva is located on the Bolivian Altiplano in the Cordillera Apolobamba , the northern section of the Bolivian Cordillera Central . The region has a distinct daytime climate, with temperature fluctuations being greater during the day than during the year.
