Music is the fourteenth music album by the German violinist David Garrett . It was released on October 12, 2012.
background
The album contains both classical elements (e.g. Beethoven, Bach, Chopin) and songs from modern pop / rock music (e.g. Coldplay, Queen, Michael Jackson). Garrett has made it his business to combine both through his arrangements and thus make them accessible to a new, also young audience.
The Deluxe Edition contains three bonus tracks ( see below ) as well as another CD with a music video ( Viva la Vida ), three live recordings from Hanover ( Tico-Tico no Fubá ; Stop Crying Your Heart Out ; Funiculì, Funiculà ) and a "Behind- the-scenes “film about the creation of Viva la Vida .

Music was always part of his repertoire during the tour . For the title song , the lyrics in letter style were faded in behind the stage. A stylish James Bond opening credits with Garrett in the role of 007 were filmed for Whole Lotta Bond . During “ Yesterday ” the audience got a look at a virtual photo album with family and concert pictures of the young David Garrett. Between the performances, the “fastest violinist in the world” kept giving funny and interesting anecdotes (about the black market in Bangkok , towed cars and untidy hotel rooms) and jokingly complained about the hard musician's life without weekends or holidays and almost without “normal” friends ("[...] all the people you know work for you"). "You can't get sick either, because the rule is: If you don't die, you go on stage - the show must go on". This typical Garrett manner of appearance sometimes resulted in loud expressions of pity on the part of the audience and thus provided entertainment for the entire evening. Nonetheless, he managed to barely divulge any private information: "'David Garrett was married twice, has five children and a Swedish friend,' he says about a namesake who once sat next to him on the plane."
