The Adalbert Stifter Gymnasium in Linz in Upper Austria is an upper secondary school (ORG) of the Diocese of Linz . The school building is a listed building .

architecture

The listed school building in late historical style was built from 1904 to 1905 by the Upper Austrian Construction Company for a former teacher training institute of the Catholic school association. The building, briefly named Stifterschule and named after Adalbert Stifter , has a hook-shaped base and is four-story on a basement floor. The main facade in neo-Gothic forms emphasizes the central axis with a curved gable top. The original grating of the cellar windows from the construction period has been preserved.
