Klaus Kuttler

Klaus Kuttler (born December 4, 1971 in Wels ) is an Austrian composer and opera singer ( baritone ).

Life

After visiting a federal grammar school visited in Wels triper the Adalbert Stifter grammar school in Linz , where he in 1991 graduated . Then he began his studies for piano , oboe , composition and singing at the Bruckner Conservatory in the country Upper Austria , the vocal training began at the University of Music and Performing Arts and graduated it in 2002 with honors.

During his studies in 1992, he received the Schiff scholarship for composition and several composition commissions, and qualified in several competitions. In 1997 he received a scholarship from the Richard Wagner Association in Linz.

In addition to his work as an opera singer, Kuttler has also worked as an oratorio singer and has performed recitals since the 1990s . Engagements have taken him to various venues at home and abroad, such as The Hague , Japan , Lausanne , London , St. Gallen , St. Pölten , the Vienna Chamber Opera , the Wiener Konzerthaus , the Zurich Opera House and to festivals and festivals in Mörbisch , St. Moritz and Bregenz .

From 2000 the artist was a permanent member of the ensemble of the Vienna Volksoper and continued this activity as a freelance singer from the 2005/06 season. In 2012 he made his stage debut at the Salzburg Festival .
