NGC 2353 is a type II2p open star cluster in the constellation Unicorn in the southern sky .
This star cluster has an apparent diameter of 20 arc minutes and an apparent magnitude of +7.10 mag. About 200 stars of this star cluster are known. Their total mass is estimated at 300 to 400 solar masses .
William Herschel discovered this star cluster on January 10, 1785.
