NGC 2333 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sa in the constellation Gemini on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 211 million light years from the Milky Way and about 65,000 light years in diameter.

The type IIP supernova SN 2010ie was observed here.

The object was discovered by William Herschel on February 4, 1793 .
