NGC 2321 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBa in the constellation Lynx in the northern sky . It is an estimated 284 million light years from the Milky Way and about 115,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 2315 , NGC 2320 , NGC 2322 , NGC 2326 .
The property was built on December 18, 1849 by George Johnstone Stoney .
