NGC 2346 is a planetary nebula in the constellation Unicorn , which is 2,000 light years from Earth . NGC 2346 comes from the binary star system HD 293373 . The two stars orbit each other every 16 days.
The object was discovered on March 5, 1790 by the German-British astronomer Wilhelm Herschel .
