NGC 2322 is a barred spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBa in the constellation Lynx in the northern sky . It is an estimated 284 million light years from the Milky Way and about 90,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky is u. a. the galaxy NGC 2315 , NGC 2320 , NGC 2321 , NGC 2326 .
The property was bought on December 28, 1790 by William Herschel .
