The NSU 5/10 PS was a small car that Neckarsulmer Fahrzeugwerke Aktiengesellschaft built in 1910 and 1911.

The 5/10 PS was the manufacturer's first small car . Two versions were produced, initially with a two- cylinder engine and then with a four-cylinder engine .

The two-cylinder model had a block engine with a displacement of 1105 cm³ (bore × stroke = 75 × 125 mm), which made 10 hp (7.4 kW) at 1400 rpm. The engine already had pressure lubrication and magneto ignition . The power was transmitted to the rear wheels via a leather cone clutch, a three-speed gearbox that was shifted on an external backdrop and a cardan shaft . The wheelbase was 2100 mm, the track width was 1150 mm and the length of the vehicle was 3300 mm. The weight of the chassis was included. 550 kg, the top speed was 50 km / h.

The four-cylinder model had a block engine with a displacement of 1132 cm³ (bore × stroke = 60 × 100 mm), which also made 10 hp (7.4 kW), but at 1600 rpm. The remaining drive data, as well as the proportions, corresponded to those of the two-cylinder model.

Both vehicles were available as Phaeton, double phaeton or delivery van.

The two-cylinder model was only built in 1910 and soon disappeared from the market. The four-cylinder model was more successful because it was easier to understand. It was still made in 1911. In the same year, the 5/11 PS , again available with a two or four-cylinder engine, replaced these models.
