Career

Nadseja Pissarawa was initially part of the Russian B squad for the 2010/11 season , but moved to the Belarusian team before the start of the competitions. In Beitostølen she made her international debut in the IBU Cup at the beginning of the season and immediately won points as 26th of the sprint. This was followed by her World Cup debut in the first race of the season, an individual, in Östersund , in which she missed her first win of World Cup points by two places in 42nd place. In the following sprint she was 41st and just missed her first point by one place. In Hochfilzen it was only used in the relay race, where it achieved a top ten result for the first time in seventh place with Lyudmila Kalintschyk , Darja Domratschawa and Nadseja Skardsina . The World Cup weekend in Oberhof was particularly successful . First she achieved with Skardsina, Domratschawa and Kalintschyk with third place one of the best Belarusian relay results for years and also her first podium place. In the sprint, she was able to win World Cup points for the first time as 35th. A week later, as 41st of the individual from Ruhpolding, she again missed by just one place more World Cup points. Subsequently, however, she slipped one place up in both races due to a doping disqualification. At her first World Championships in 2011 in Khanty-Mansiysk , Russia , after finishing 64th in the sprint, she won the bronze medal in the relay race together with Skardsina, Domratschawa and Kalintschyk. After she skipped the subsequent 2011/12 season, Pissarawa started the following season with a 74th place in the sprint in Östersund, after not finishing the individual race that took place two days earlier. After an error-free shooting she was able to celebrate her best World Cup result in Oslo with 20th place in the sprint. At the 2014 Winter Olympics , she reached 5th place with the Belarusian relay team. In the singles Pissarawa was 35.

In the 2014/15 season nadzeya pisarava launched in Ostersund, among others, with a 20 place in the sprint and a 21st place in the pursuit. The rest of the season was also successful for the Belarusian. After three more podium places with the Belarusian women's relay (2nd in Hochfilzen, 3rd in Oberhof, 2nd in Ruhpolding), as well as her two best individual results (18th each in the World Cup singles in Kontiolahti and Sprint in Khanty-Mansiysk), she finished the season as the 40th of the overall World Cup. In the following years Pissarawa could not build on her successes and her placements mostly stagnated beyond the top 40. In February 2018 she took part in the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang , where she took part in the sprint race. After the 52nd place there, she qualified for the subsequent pursuit race, in which she was 44th. Her last race to date, Pissarava contested the competitions in Tyumen , Russia , where she was 65th in the sprint.
