The Louisiana Highway 1 , which runs along Bayou Lafourche, is the main street of Napoleonville. In the center of the village there is a bridge over the bayou. The Louisiana Highway 401 branches off from LA 1, runs as Canal Road through the city and leaves it in a south-westerly direction. All other roads are subordinate country roads, some unpaved roads and inner-city connecting roads.
