Naqerloq [ nɑˈqɜɬːɔq ] (according to the old spelling Naĸerdloĸ ) is a desolate Greenlandic settlement in the district of Uummannaq in the Avannaata Kommunia .
location
Naqerloq is located on the east coast of the island of Illorsuit (Ubekendt Ejland) at the mouth of the largest river on the island. Ten kilometers north of the island is the place Illorsuit , from which the island takes its name.
history
Naqerloq can be found on a map from 1920. In the description of the location from the same year, however, the place of residence is not included, from which it can be concluded that it had been given up shortly before.
