Tuullittalik [ ˈtuːˌɬːitːalik ] (according to the old spelling Tûgdligtalik ) is a desolate Greenlandic settlement in the district of Uummannaq in the Avannaata Kommunia .

location

Tuullittalik is located in the north of an island of the same name south of the mouth of the Itilliarsuup Kangerlua . Saattut is eight kilometers to the west .

history

Tuullitalik was already inhabited before the colonial era, but was abandoned at times. In 1805 37 people lived in the area and most of them were baptized in the area. In 1849 48 people lived in the area. In 1905, 19 people lived in Tuullittalik. In 1911 Tuullittalik became part of the Saattut municipality. In 1915 Tuullittalik had 17 residents who lived in three houses. Among them were five hunters. In 1918 there were 21 residents. The residential space was given up during the 1920s.
