Itilliarsuk [ iˈtˢiɬːiˌɑsːuk ] (according to the old spelling Itivdliarssuk ) is a desolate Greenlandic settlement in the district of Uummannaq in the Avannaata Kommunia .
location
Itilliarsuk is located on the south bank of Itilliarsuup Kangerlua at the point where the Amitsuatsiaq fjord cuts deeply into the peninsula on which Itilliarsuk is located. The closest places are Saattut 22 km west, Ukkusissat 43 km northwest, Ikerasak 33 south and Uummannaq 42 km west southwest.
history
Itilliarsuk can be found on a map from 1920, but it is not marked as a place to live. It can be assumed that Itilliarsuk was left shortly before and the marking was subsequently removed. In 1901 the place was most likely inhabited.
