Narong Prangcharoen
Narong Prangcharoen ( Thai : ณรงค์ ปรางค์ เจริญ ; * 1973 in Uttaradit ) is one of the leading Thai composers .
Life
Narong learned Dharmabutra from Narongrit in Thailand. He then studied with Stephen Taylor and David Feursehen at Illinois State University . This was followed by studies with Chen Yi , Zhou Long , Paul Rudy and James Mobberley at the University of Missouri – Kansas City . He has taught at Srinakharinwirot University and Illinois State University. Narong founded the Thailand Composition Festival in Bangkok . His compositions have been performed worldwide (including Carnegie Hall )
