Jiradej Setabundhu
Jiradej Setabundhu ( Thai : จิร เดช เส ตะ พันธุ , pronunciation: [ ʤi.ra.det.set.ta.pʰan ]; * 1967 ) is a Thai composer .
Life
Jiradej studied composition at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, University of Southern California and Northwestern University ( Ph.D. ) in Chicago. His teachers include Martin William Karlins , Michael Pisaro , Amnon Wolman , Bruce Gaston , Marta Ptaszyńska , Stephen Syverud , Pi Kappa Lambda and Donald Crockett . He was a member of the Fong Naam Ensemble and teaches at Rangsit University in Bangkok. His music has been performed in Asia, Europe and the USA.
