Wang Sue-ya

Wang Sue-ya (born August 14, 1965 in Taipei ) is a Taiwanese composer .

Life

Wang studied piano at the National Taiwan University of Arts. She studied composition and computer music with José Luis Campana at the Université d'Orsay. She also studied with Yoshihisa Taira and Alain Weber at the École Normale de Musique de Paris and with Alain Bancquart and Laurent Cuniot at the Conservatoire de Paris . In 1993 studies with Klaus Huber , Harrison Birtwistle and Gérard Grisey in Avignon followed. In 1994 she took lessons from Paul Méfano . She was a guest at the Darmstadt Summer Courses several times . In 1997 she attended workshops with Brian Ferneyhough , Franco Donatoni and Jean-Marc Singier . In 1999 she worked at IRCAM . Your compositions were u. a. performed at the World Music Days of the ISCM .
